Matt Hutfles’ love for art was realized at a young age while growing up in the quaint northwestern Kansas town of Colby. During those formative years, Matt cultivated a unique talent and respect for the arts before taking his first explorative steps into the world of photography with a two-mega pixel digital camera that his mother gifted him on his sixteenth birthday. A passion was born.
Matt chased that passion, camera in hand, all the way to Massachusetts and the Hallmark Institute of Photography to further develop and hone his skill. A recent graduate of Hallmark, Matt now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. His articulate eye for the aesthetic has served him well as a professional photographer in Nashville, garnering him favorable critiques by such influential photographers as Barbara Bordnick, David Turner, and Beth Reynolds.
